The Vetus BOWB150 delivers powerful and fully proportional thrust, providing exceptional boat handling for vessels from 40 to 60 ft (12.5–18 m). It enables precise maneuvering in confined waters, during docking operations, and under challenging wind or current loads.
The BOW PRO Boosted system integrates a DC-to-DC smart charger that supports charging a 24 V thruster battery bank using a 12 VDC electrical system. The intelligent three-stage charging strategy safeguards the starter battery while maintaining optimal power readiness for thruster operation.
A brushless induction motor ensures maintenance-free performance with extended runtime capability. The patented MCV motor controller guarantees optimized thrust management, while V-CAN CANBUS connectivity provides seamless integration with Vetus control devices and onboard electronics. Built-in overheat and low-voltage protection improves operational safety.
Engineered for retrofit-friendly installation, this model fits tunnels with Ø 250 mm internal diameter, matching existing Vetus and other compatible systems.
