Vetus BOWB130 BOW PRO Boosted Fully Proportional Brushless Bow Thruster 130 kgf, 12/24V, Ø 185 mm Tunnel
The Vetus BOWB130 is a high-performance thruster that delivers strong, proportional thrust control, enabling smooth and precise maneuvering for vessels between 40 and 60 ft (12.5–18 m). It ensures responsive operation when docking, navigating tight areas, and holding position in adverse conditions.
The integrated DC-to-DC smart charger allows a 24 V thruster battery bank to be charged safely from a 12 VDC supply. Its intelligent three-stage charging cycle protects the engine starting bank while keeping thruster power reserves at optimal levels.
The brushless induction motor ensures fully maintenance-free operation with extended runtime capability. The patented MCV motor controller optimizes thrust output and efficiency, while V-CAN CANBUS connectivity provides full compatibility with Vetus control panels and onboard systems. Overheating and low-voltage protection safeguards enhance overall operational safety.
Thanks to its Ø 185 mm tunnel compatibility, installation or replacement is straightforward on boats featuring existing Vetus or compatible thruster tunnels.
