The Vetus BOWB110 offers strong proportional thrust output to ensure precise maneuvering of vessels from 36 to 56 ft (11.5–18 m). It provides smooth low-speed control and reliable docking assistance in marinas, tight waterways, and demanding weather environments.
The integrated BOW PRO Boosted DC-to-DC smart charging system allows secure charging of a 24 V thruster battery bank from a 12 V power source. Its intelligent three-stage charge regulation prevents discharge of the starting battery and maintains optimal battery energy for thruster operation.
Powered by a brushless induction motor, this system is maintenance-free and supports extended runtime. The patented MCV motor controller and V-CAN CANBUS communication ensure coordinated operation with Vetus control systems and deliver optimized thrust output. Built-in safety protections guard against overheating and inadequate battery voltage.
Installation is simplified by compatibility with Ø 185 mm tunnels commonly used in Vetus and other manufacturer installations, making upgrade applications straightforward.
