The Vetus BOWB420 Bow Pro Boosted Thruster is a high-performance maneuvering solution engineered for large yachts and commercial vessels. Delivering 420 kgf of thrust, it enables precise control in tight marinas and strong currents. Designed for bow and stern applications, it provides smooth proportional thrust for maximum maneuverability.
This model integrates a brushless induction motor with extended runtime and low maintenance demands. The advanced built-in DC-to-DC smart charger enables 48 V thruster battery banks to be charged from a 24 V power supply, ensuring optimal battery performance without overloading onboard systems.
Equipped with patented MCV motor control and V-CAN CANBUS connectivity, it provides seamless integration with compatible Vetus control panels and monitoring systems. Lock-and-hold control functionality allows the operator to maintain thrust at any selected speed with a single command.
