Vetus BOWB320 BOW PRO Boosted Fully Proportional Brushless Bow Thruster 320 kgf, 24/48V, Ø 300 mm Tunnel
The Vetus BOWB320 delivers powerful and fully proportional thrust to support precise vessel maneuvering on boats ranging from 25 to 32 metres in length. Its 320 kgf output ensures confident control when operating in strong winds, fast currents, or congested marinas.
The Boosted power system incorporates an advanced smart DC/DC charger, enabling a 48 V thruster battery bank to be charged directly from a 24 V onboard supply. Its intelligent charging cycle activates only under safe voltage conditions, preserving engine start batteries while ensuring full power availability when needed.
The patented MCV motor controller, combined with the V-CAN CANBUS communication platform, allows seamless integration with Vetus proportional control panels for precise lock-and-hold thrust control during delicate operations such as side docking or station keeping.
The brushless induction motor requires no brush servicing and ensures extended and reliable thruster operation. Designed for retrofit installations, the BOWB320 matches standard Ø 300 mm tunnel dimensions for easy system replacement or upgrades.
