The Vetus BOWB076 thruster delivers high thrust output and fully proportional control to ensure exceptional maneuverability in tight docking spaces and strong environmental conditions. Suitable for vessels between 30 and 45 ft (10–14 m), it enables smooth navigation and positioning of both bow and stern.
This BOW PRO Boosted model includes a built-in DC-to-DC smart charging system that allows safe charging of a 24 V thruster battery bank from a 12 VDC power source. The system uses an intelligent multi-stage charging profile, preventing depletion of the engine starter battery and optimizing power availability for thruster operation.
The maintenance-free brushless induction motor ensures extended runtime, while the patented MCV motor controller provides optimal power efficiency. V-CAN CANBUS communication allows seamless integration with Vetus control panels and other V-CAN compatible devices. Protection systems against overheating and low voltage ensure continuous reliability.
The retrofit-friendly construction supports installation into existing Ø 185 mm tunnels used by Vetus and other thruster brands, making upgrading straightforward.
