The Yacht Devices YDHS-01R is a sensor that provides humidity and air temperature measurements, as well as calculated dew point temperature, to chart plotters and instrumental displays. It is a plug and play device that can be easily connected to a NMEA 2000 backbone, enabling readings on all chart plotters and instruments on board.

This versatile product can be used for various purposes such as weather monitoring and fog prediction. It is also great for mold prevention by monitoring water intake or moisture condensation in lockers. Additionally, it allows for remote monitoring of living quarters, providing comfort and convenience from the helm.

The YDHS-01R is equipped with a high-quality sensor that ensures accuracy of ±2% RH and ±0.3°C in most operating conditions. Its operating range spans from 0% to 100% RH and -40°C to 120°C (-40°F to 248°F).

This humidity sensor is designed for seamless integration into an NMEA 2000 network. It is certified by the National Marine Electronics Association and compatible with a wide range of equipment that supports this protocol. Notably, it is compatible with Raymarine SeaTalk NG, Simrad SimNet, and Furuno CAN networks, which are all branded versions of NMEA 2000, differing only in connector type. The YDHS-01R utilizes the NMEA 2000 Micro connector, which is fully compatible with the DeviceNet Micro connector.
