Lewmar VX2 GO & VX2 GD Anchor Windlass Kits 12V & 24V – 700W & 1000W, for 8 mm & 10 mm DIN766/ISO Chain
The Lewmar VX2 series is a range of premium vertical anchor windlasses developed for boats from 9 to 13 metres. Manufactured from stainless steel with lightweight composite components, the VX2 combines a robust hybrid gypsy, worm gear transmission and IP67-certified motor gearbox to deliver quiet, reliable anchor handling in demanding marine environments.
The series is available in both GO (Gypsy Only) and GD (Gypsy with Capstan) configurations. Every windlass is equipped with an integrated magnet and chain counter sensor (02.355.20), manual clutch release, robust helical reducer and solenoid, while maintaining the same mounting footprint as the previous V2/V2+ generation.
Depending on the selected model, the VX2 series is offered with 700 W or 1000 W motors, in both 12 V and 24 V versions, supporting 8 mm DIN766 chain or 10 mm ISO chain with 12–16 mm rope.
