Lewmar VX1 GO & VX1 GD Anchor Windlass Kits 12V – 300W & 500W, for 6 mm, 6/7 mm & 8 mm DIN766 Chain
The Lewmar VX1 series is a new generation of vertical anchor windlasses engineered for boats from 6 to 9 metres. Combining stainless steel construction with lightweight composite components, the VX1 series offers quiet operation, improved chain handling and dependable performance in demanding marine environments.
The series is available in two deck configurations: GO (Gypsy Only) and GD (Gypsy with Capstan). A patent-pending hybrid gypsy, hybrid chain drive and worm gear transmission provide smoother chain throughput, reduced operating noise and excellent reliability. The IP67-certified motor gearbox and non-sparking motor protection further enhance durability and safety.
Depending on the selected model, the VX1 is available with 300 W or 500 W motors and supports 6 mm, 6/7 mm or 8 mm DIN766 chain. Every kit includes the deck unit, motor/gearbox, relay (solenoid), chain drive and integrated chain counter sensor. Switches and circuit breakers are supplied separately.
