The Vetus PLA34L Planus Ventilation Hatch (article PLA34L) is a stylish, low-profile deck hatch designed for CE Category A, Area II applications. With only 20 mm height above deck and a 75 mm corner radius, it blends seamlessly with yacht and cruiser deck lines. The hatch features a satin-sheen anodized aluminium frame, a 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic lid, and a friction hinge that holds the lid open at any angle up to 180°. It can be opened or locked from inside and outside. Cut-out size: 340 × 210 mm. External dimensions: 390 × 260 mm. One handle and one hinge. Optional mosquito screen system available.

The Vetus PLA34L Planus hatch is a refined ventilation solution intended for offshore vessels in CE Design Category A, Area II. Its sleek design with just 20 mm above-deck height ensures a smooth and modern look while improving deck safety and minimizing trip hazards.
The frame is made of satin sheen anodized aluminium for high corrosion resistance, and the 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic pane delivers excellent strength, UV durability, and enhanced privacy. A friction hinge enables stepless opening up to 180° and holds the lid securely in any position without the need for support arms. Interior and exterior handle operation allows secure locking in closed or ventilation mode.
