With only 20 mm height above deck and a 75 mm corner radius, it ensures a clean and safe deck surface. It features a satin-sheen anodized aluminium frame and a 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic lid. Two friction hinges support opening to 180° and hold the lid at any angle, with two handles enabling secure locking and internal/external operation. Cut-out size: 424 × 294 mm. External dimensions: 474 × 344 mm. Compatible mosquito screen option available.

The Vetus PLA32L Planus deck hatch combines a sleek, low-profile design with robust functionality for vessels operating under CE Design Category A, Area II. Its streamlined 20 mm above-deck height and 75 mm rounded corners provide both improved deck safety and a premium aesthetic.
The satin sheen anodized aluminium frame ensures excellent corrosion resistance, while the 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic pane reduces glare and enhances durability. Two friction hinges enable smooth, stepless opening up to 180° without requiring support stays. Two handles allow operation from either side of the hatch and secure locking in closed or ventilation-hold positions.
