The Vetus PLA30L Planus Ventilation Hatch (article PLA30L) is a stylish low-profile deck hatch designed for CE Category A, Area II marine use. Featuring a satin-sheen anodized aluminium frame with a 75 mm corner radius and a 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic lid, it stands only 20 mm above deck. The friction hinge allows opening up to 180° and holds the lid at any angle. The hatch can be operated from inside and outside and includes a secure locking position. Cut-out size: 300 × 230 mm. External dimensions: 350 × 280 mm. Equipped with one hinge and one handle. Compatible mosquito screen system available separately.

The Vetus PLA30L Planus hatch combines elegant styling with functional ventilation capabilities for CE Category A, Area II installations. Its low-profile structure, extending only 20 mm above deck, ensures a clean and unobtrusive appearance with improved deck safety.
Constructed with a satin sheen anodized aluminium frame and fitted with a 10 mm thick dark-smoke acrylic pane, the hatch provides durability, weather resistance, and glare control. One friction hinge enables fully stepless opening up to 180°, keeping the lid in place without stays. A single interior/exterior handle allows secure locking in closed or ventilation mode.
