The Vetus ALT6363SL Altus Escape Hatch (article ALT6363SL) is a CE Category A, Area II deck hatch with a cut-out size of 627 × 627 mm and external dimensions of 701 × 701 mm. Built from a sturdy satin-sheen anodized aluminium profile, only 21–23 mm above deck, it features a 10 mm dark-smoke framed acrylic pane. Two handles and integrated hatch adjusters allow secure inside/outside operation and stepless opening up to 90°, including watertight and ventilation lock settings. Compatible mosquito screen HCM6363 available separately.

The Vetus ALT6363SL Altus escape and ventilation hatch is engineered for ocean-rated vessels, meeting CE Design Category A, Area II requirements. Its robust satin sheen anodized aluminium profile rises only approximately 21–23 mm above the deck and recesses 22 mm below, ensuring a clean and streamlined installation.
The 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic opening pane offers durability and glare reduction. Stylish and ergonomic hatch adjusters allow the lid to be securely held at almost any angle up to 90°. The dual-handle system supports watertight closure, ventilation position locking, and full interior/exterior operation for safety. Suitable for deck installation.
