Its satin-sheen anodized aluminium frame and 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic pane ensure durability and comfort onboard. Two friction hinges support stepless opening up to 180°, while two handles allow secure locking and interior/exterior operation. This hatch can serve as an escape route and is compatible with optional mosquito screen systems.

Vetus PLA45L Planus Escape Hatch CE AII – 424 × 424 mm Cut-Out
The Vetus PLA45L Planus escape hatch provides a streamlined, low-profile solution for marine ventilation, lighting, and emergency egress in CE Design Category A, Area II conditions. Its height above deck is just 20 mm, improving safety and visual appeal while preventing rope snagging and reducing wind resistance.
The satin sheen anodized aluminium frame offers excellent corrosion protection, and the 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic lid ensures structural strength and a comfortable reduction of daylight glare. Two friction hinges allow opening to 180° and will support the lid in any chosen position. Dual interior/exterior handles enable secure locking and ventilation-hold functionality.
