The Vetus ALT5151SL Altus Escape Hatch (article ALT5151SL) is a CE Category A, Area II certified deck hatch with a cut-out dimension of 507 × 507 mm and external dimensions of 581 × 581 mm. Built from a strong satin-sheen anodized aluminium profile with only 21–23 mm height above deck, it features a framed 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic lid. Equipped with two handles and two adjusters, it opens up to 90°, locks from inside or outside, and offers both watertight and ventilation positions. Compatible mosquito screen: HCM5151.

Vetus ALT5151SL Altus Escape Hatch CE AII – 507 × 507 mm Cut-Out
The Vetus ALT5151SL Altus escape and ventilation hatch is designed for offshore vessels requiring a reliable CE AII certified deck opening. Its durable aluminium profile rises only approximately 21–23 mm above deck, ensuring improved safety and streamlined modern styling.
The satin sheen anodized frame offers superior corrosion resistance, while the 10 mm thick dark-smoke acrylic framed pane enhances durability, visibility control, and UV protection. Two integrated adjusters allow the hatch to remain open at almost any angle up to 90° without additional hardware. Dual handles provide secure locking in closed or ventilation positions and full inside/outside accessibility.
