The Vetus ALT4747SL Altus Escape Hatch (article ALT4747SL) is a CE Category A, Area II rated deck hatch with a cut-out size of 470 × 470 mm and external dimensions of 544 × 544 mm. It features a satin-sheen anodized aluminium frame with 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic glazing. Two handles and two easy-operating adjusters allow secure inside/outside access and stable opening up to 90°. The profile is only approx. 21–23 mm above deck, combining durability with modern design. Compatible mosquito screen: HCM4747.

Vetus ALT4747SL Altus Escape Hatch CE AII – 470 × 470 mm Cut-Out
The Vetus ALT4747SL Altus hatch offers a robust and stylish escape and ventilation solution designed for CE Category A, Area II offshore deck installation. Its sturdy aluminium structure extends only about 21–23 mm above the deck, ensuring both safety and a contemporary look.
The satin sheen anodized frame and 10 mm dark-smoke acrylic pane deliver excellent UV and saltwater resistance. Two hatch adjusters allow smooth stepless opening up to 90° and maintain lid position without additional supports. Dual handles enable watertight and ventilation lock settings and allow operation from inside or outside the vessel.
