These studs are designed for use with rotary and fixed die swaging machines and are intended for closed body turnbuckles only. They are suitable for 1×19, 7 strand, and compacted strand wire rope (IWRC), compatible with metric and inch wire ropes, require a minimum hole depth of 10× wire diameter, and are supplied without a nut. When using compacted strand wire rope, down-sized thread options are not suitable.

STA-LOK 061 Closed Body Swage Studs – 316 Stainless Steel Swage Studs for Closed Body Turnbuckles, 3–26 mm Wire Rope
The STA-LOK 061 Closed Body Swage Studs range is designed for wire rope terminations used with closed body turnbuckles only. These swage studs are manufactured from high specification 316 stainless steel and are intended for use with rotary and fixed die swaging machines.
The range covers wire sizes from 3 mm to 26 mm, with thread sizes from M6 to M36. Both right-hand and left-hand thread versions are available. These studs are suitable for 1×19, 7 strand, and compacted strand wire rope (IWRC), for both metric and inch wire rope sizes. Minimum hole depth must be 10× wire diameter. Nut supplied separately.

Important Note
- When using compacted strand wire ropes, it is not suitable to use down-sized thread options
Applications
These swage studs are intended for wire rope assemblies using closed body turnbuckles where a swaged threaded terminal is required for tensioning and adjustment.
