Maxwell RC10-10 24V 1200W 150TDC CW Vertical Anchor Windlass (Vetus P105439)
The Maxwell RC10-10 is a fully automatic vertical rope/chain anchor windlass from the Maxwell RC10 Series, engineered for demanding anchoring applications on cruising yachts and powerboats. This version features an increased Total Deck Clearance of 150 TDC, allowing installation on vessels with thicker deck structures or specific mounting requirements.
Manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel (AISI 316) and chromed bronze, the RC10-10 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The patented Wave Design™ chainwheel, combined with a heavy-duty stainless steel pressure arm and preloaded spring system, ensures secure control of rope, chain, and the rope-to-chain splice during anchoring operations.
Driven by a powerful 1200 W motor operating on a 24 V DC supply, this windlass delivers a maximum pull of 850 kg and a static holding capacity of 1500 kg. The chainwheel-only configuration is optimized for standard anchoring operations where independent rope handling via a drum is not required.

Operational Notes
- The windlass must be used in conjunction with a chain stopper and/or alternative snubbing device to remove load from the windlass while at anchor.
- A chain stopper or alternative snubbing system should also be used to secure the anchor in the fully raised position while the vessel is under way.
