Maxwell RC10-10 12V 1200W 150TDC CW Vertical Anchor Windlass (Vetus P105438)
The Maxwell RC10-10 is a fully automatic vertical rope/chain anchor windlass from the Maxwell RC10 Series, engineered for demanding anchoring applications on cruising yachts and powerboats. This version features an increased Total Deck Clearance of 150 TDC, making it suitable for vessels with thicker deck structures or specific installation requirements.
Constructed from marine-grade stainless steel (AISI 316) and chromed bronze, the RC10-10 delivers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The patented Wave Design™ chainwheel, combined with a heavy-duty stainless steel pressure arm and preloaded spring system, ensures secure control of rope, chain, and the rope-to-chain splice during anchoring operations.
Driven by a powerful 1200 W motor operating on a 12 V DC supply, this windlass provides a maximum pull of 850 kg and a static holding capacity of 1500 kg. The chainwheel-only configuration is optimized for standard anchoring operations where independent rope handling via a drum is not required.

Operational Notes
- The windlass must be used in conjunction with a chain stopper and/or alternative snubbing device to remove load from the windlass while at anchor.
- A chain stopper or alternative snubbing system should also be used to secure the anchor in the fully raised position while the vessel is under way.
