The Maxwell RC10-10 Hydraulic is a fully automatic vertical rope/chain anchor windlass from the Maxwell RC10 Series, engineered for demanding anchoring applications on cruising yachts, expedition vessels, and professional craft. This version features an increased Total Deck Clearance of 150 TDC, allowing installation on vessels with thicker deck structures or specific mounting requirements.
Manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel (AISI 316) and chromed bronze, the RC10-10 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The patented Wave Design™ chainwheel, together with a heavy-duty stainless steel pressure arm and preloaded spring system, ensures secure control of rope, chain, and the rope-to-chain splice during anchoring operations.
This capstan version is equipped with a fluted stainless steel drum, enabling independent rope handling operations in addition to standard anchor deployment and retrieval. The hydraulic drive system delivers smooth, consistent performance equivalent to a 1200 W electric motor, making this windlass suitable for vessels equipped with onboard hydraulic systems.

Operational Notes
