Maxwell RC12-10 Hydraulic 190TDC CW Vertical Anchor Windlass (Vetus P104938)
The Maxwell RC12-10 Hydraulic is a fully automatic vertical rope/chain anchor windlass and represents the top-range model within the Maxwell RC Series. This version features an increased Total Deck Clearance of 190 TDC, allowing installation on vessels with thick deck structures or special mounting requirements.
Manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel (AISI 316), the RC12-10 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The patented Wave Design™ chainwheel ensures smooth anchor deployment and retrieval, secure handling of both chain and rope, and reliable passage of the rope-to-chain splice during anchoring operations.
This hydraulic version is configured without an integrated drum and is intended for vessels equipped with onboard hydraulic systems. A ratcheted mechanism prevents backwinding during emergency manual retrieval, ensuring safe and controlled operation under high anchoring loads.
