The Italwinch Orchid is a premium vertical anchor windlass manufactured from 100% AISI 316 stainless steel, providing exceptional corrosion resistance and long-term reliability in demanding marine environments. Designed for professional anchoring systems, the Orchid series is available with 12V, 24V, 230/400V electric motors as well as hydraulic drive options to suit a wide range of vessel installations.

The windlass is supplied with an integrated chain counter (odometer) sensor, allowing easy connection to compatible chain counter systems for accurate anchor monitoring. Models are available in gypsy-only or gypsy with drum configurations, making the series suitable for both chain-only and rope-and-chain anchor systems.

The Orchid family supports 8 mm, 10 mm ISO, 10 mm DIN766, 12 mm ISO and 13 mm DIN766 anchor chains. Electric versions are available with motor outputs from 1500W to 2300W, while hydraulic versions offer multiple hydraulic motor configurations for heavy-duty marine applications.
