The Italwinch Star Plus is a professional-grade vertical anchor windlass designed for larger yachts and commercial vessels up to 26 metres. Constructed from polished AISI 316 stainless steel, it provides outstanding corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and dependable operation in demanding offshore conditions.
The Star Plus range is available with 24V DC, 230V AC, 230/400V AC and hydraulic drive systems, allowing the windlass to be matched to a wide variety of onboard electrical or hydraulic installations. Depending on the selected version, it accommodates 10 mm, 10 mm ISO, 10 mm DIN766, 12 mm, 13 mm DIN766 and 14 mm anchor chain.
The windlass is offered in both high-profile and low-profile configurations and is available with or without an integrated drum (capstan). Every model includes a factory-installed chain counter sensor, enabling accurate monitoring of deployed anchor chain when connected to a compatible chain counter display.
