The Italwinch Smart V is a compact vertical motor anchor windlass engineered for boats up to 8 metres. Its vertically mounted electric motor is positioned below deck, creating a clean deck layout while ensuring efficient power transmission and reliable anchoring performance.

Constructed from polished AISI 316 stainless steel, the Smart V is designed to withstand harsh marine environments while delivering excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. The sealed IP67 waterproof motor provides dependable operation in demanding onboard conditions.

The Smart V series is available with 500W and 800W 12V motors and is designed for 6 mm and 8 mm anchor chain. Its mixed gypsy also accepts rope/chain combinations, providing flexibility for different anchoring systems. Every windlass is equipped with an integrated chain counter sensor for connection to compatible chain counters, allowing accurate monitoring of deployed anchor chain.

All versions included in this series are supplied without an integrated drum, making the Smart V an excellent choice for compact recreational boats where space-efficient installation is important.
