The Italwinch OBI is a compact horizontal anchor windlass designed for reliable anchoring on boats up to 15 metres. Manufactured with an anodized aluminium body, chromed brass gypsy and polished chromed cap, it provides excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining low weight and high durability for marine environments.

The OBI family is available with 12V and 24V electric motors ranging from 500W to 1500W. Depending on the selected model, the windlass is supplied either with or without an integrated drum and supports 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 10 mm DIN766 anchor chains. Selected configurations can also be used with rope-and-chain combinations when the rope is properly spliced to pass through the gypsy.

Every OBI windlass includes a built-in chain counter sensor, integrated line tensioner, solenoid, and a manual friction free-fall release lever, ensuring safe anchor deployment and smooth retrieval during everyday operation.
