The Italwinch Star is a heavy-duty vertical anchor windlass engineered for boats up to 19 metres. Manufactured from polished AISI 316 stainless steel, it offers exceptional corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and long-term reliability in demanding marine environments.

The Star series is available with 12V, 24V, 230V, 400V electric motors as well as hydraulic drive configurations. Depending on the selected model, the windlass supports 10 mm, 12 mm and 13 mm DIN766 anchor chain, allowing the series to accommodate a wide range of anchoring systems for cruising and professional vessels.

Available in both high-profile and low-profile configurations, the Star windlass can also be supplied with or without an integrated drum (capstan) depending on the chosen version. Every model includes a factory-installed chain counter sensor, allowing connection to compatible chain counters for precise monitoring of deployed anchor chain during anchoring operations.
