The Italwinch NV16 is a professional-grade vertical anchor windlass engineered for large yachts and commercial vessels up to 42 metres. Constructed entirely from AISI 316 stainless steel, it delivers exceptional corrosion resistance, structural strength and long-term reliability in demanding marine environments.
The NV16 series is available with 230/400V electric motors rated at 3000W, 3500W or 4000W, as well as hydraulic drive versions. Every configuration is supplied with an integrated drum and is designed to accommodate 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm and 16 mm anchor chains, including DIN 766, ISO and Stud Link chain standards.
Unlike conventional systems using cone clutches, the NV16 features a robust dog clutch mechanism combined with an electromagnetic brake as standard equipment, ensuring secure anchor holding, reliable engagement and precise operation under heavy loads.
