The Italwinch Moon Vertical Anchor Windlass is a heavy-duty anchoring solution developed for large yachts and professional vessels up to 30 metres in length. Manufactured entirely from AISI 316 stainless steel, it provides outstanding corrosion resistance, strength and long-term reliability in demanding marine environments.
The Moon series is available with 24V DC, 230/400V AC, and hydraulic drive systems, allowing the windlass to be matched to a wide variety of onboard power installations. High-profile and low-profile versions are available, while selected models are equipped with a drum for combined rope and chain operation.
Designed for 13 mm DIN 766 and 14 mm ISO anchor chains, the windlass incorporates an integrated chain counter sensor for precise anchor monitoring. Stud-link versions also support a detachable joining link (kenter link), making the Moon series suitable for demanding commercial and superyacht applications.
