Fully-proportional thruster, with unlimited* run-time. The Vetus BOW PRO 65kgf thruster is fitted with proven AC induction motor technology, with built-in Vetus designed MCV (AC-DC) motor controller. All the advantages of AC - with the convenience of DC supply. The resulting package is highly energy efficient - unlike DC proportional thruster systems. Brushless, maintenance-free motor delivers super quiet operation compared with standard DC carbon brushed thrusters. This has to be heard to be believed! Two different control panels are available for this thruster; one fully-proportional paddle panel and one fully-proportional Joystick panel with lock-function. This allows the boat to be moored without the use of ropes - the boat will hold itself against the lock or jetty.

Revolution
The bow thrusters are equipped with proven induction technology. This system makes the use of carbon brushes superfluous. As a result, the bow thruster is very quiet and has an indefinite * running time!

Evolution
The BOW PRO thruster is controlled by a proprietary CANBUS protocol. Two different panels are available for these bow thrusters, a fully proportional basic panel and a fully proportional panel with lock function. This allows the boat to be moored without ropes. Getting the passengers on board your ship has never been easier! The evolution continues with a number of good features, so there are similarities with its predecessors: the very quiet propeller blades and the streamlined underwater part have remained. Retrofitting a BOW PRO thruster is therefore a breeze as the new motor is interchangeable with the tailpiece and flange of our thruster series.
