The Vetus BOWA0651 bow thruster provides powerful and precise maneuvering, making docking and confined navigation significantly easier. Supporting vessels 27–40 ft (8–12.5 m), it enables smooth directional adjustments and enhanced bow and stern control, even in challenging weather and current conditions.
This unit includes a brushless induction motor, delivering fully proportional thrust and requiring no periodic motor maintenance. The patented MCV motor controller ensures optimal performance, while the V-CAN CANBUS protocol enables communication with Vetus control panels and compatible onboard systems.
Overheat protection and low-voltage safeguards promote operational safety and long-term system durability. The design allows convenient retrofitting into existing Ø 185 mm tunnel configurations used by Vetus and other brands.
