The Vetus BOX100 Dorade Box provides enhanced water-resistant ventilation by creating a dry baffle system beneath Ø100 mm cowl ventilators. Designed as an optional base unit, it is installed over the supplied mushroom vent, which serves as a secondary water barrier. The mushroom vent can be closed from inside the vessel using a rotating knob, ensuring protection in rough conditions or when ventilation must be temporarily sealed. A mosquito screen is included to prevent insect intrusion while maintaining airflow. For deck thicknesses greater than 25 mm, the use of adapter BOXAD100 is required.
