Tecnoseal 00210 Square Trim Tab Anode 64x64x10 mm – Zinc & Magnesium
The Tecnoseal 00210 series consists of square sacrificial plate anodes available in zinc and magnesium. These anodes are designed for marine trim tabs (flaps), providing a replaceable sacrificial element to help protect compatible metallic components against galvanic corrosion.
Both variants share identical dimensions of 64 × 64 × 10 mm (2.52 × 2.52 × 0.39 in). Each plate features two mounting holes arranged along its centreline, with a centre-to-centre spacing of 50 mm (1.97 in) and a hole diameter of 7 mm (0.28 in).
The TEC-00210 zinc version weighs 0.27 kg (0.60 lbs), while the 00210MG magnesium version weighs 0.07 kg (0.15 lbs). Both use the same mounting geometry.

Square Plate Design and Mounting
The Tecnoseal 00210 series features a square profile with two mounting holes positioned symmetrically along the central axis. The mounting holes measure 7 mm in diameter and are spaced 50 mm apart, measured between their centres.
Both variants use identical dimensions and mounting arrangements, allowing the sacrificial anode material to be selected without changing the plate geometry.
Choosing the Correct Anode Material
The series is available in two sacrificial anode materials:
- Zinc: Zinc anode version for compatible marine cathodic protection systems.
- Magnesium: Magnesium anode version for installations requiring magnesium sacrificial anodes.
Material selection should follow the vessel's operating water conditions, existing cathodic protection system and equipment manufacturer's recommendations.
Inspection and Replacement
Sacrificial anodes gradually lose material during service. Inspect the plate periodically and replace it when sufficiently consumed.
Before ordering, verify the 64 × 64 × 10 mm dimensions, 50 mm mounting hole spacing and 7 mm hole diameter against the original component.
Supply: One Tecnoseal 00210 series square sacrificial plate anode in the selected material.
