The Yacht Devices YDBC-05NT is a precision barometer specifically designed for measuring atmospheric pressure. It has a range of 300 to 1100 hPa or mbar (225 to 825 mmHg), making it ideal for weather monitoring purposes. This barometer is equipped with a sensor housed within its compact case, allowing it to provide accurate barometric pressure data to chart plotters and instrumental displays.

One of the key features of this product is its compatibility with various chart plotters and digital navigation instruments, including both modern Vulcan7 and older ST70 models. These devices can present pressure data through graphs or trend indicators, enabling users to monitor and analyze weather changes over time.

The YDBC-05NT offers a pressure data output resolution of 0.01 hPa (mbar) to a NMEA 2000 Version 3 network. It boasts an absolute measurement accuracy of ±1 hPa and a relative measurement accuracy of ±0.12 hPa. For a more comprehensive environmental monitoring solution, it is recommended to pair this barometer with our Humidity Sensor YDHS-01, which can provide relative humidity, air temperature, and calculated dew point temperature.

This device also features an integrated terminator with a resistance of 120 Ohm. This terminator is designed to replace the existing terminator when connecting to the bus, ensuring a secure and error-free installation. The SeaTalk NG network, which this barometer is compatible with, utilizes distinct connectors for terminators (blue) and devices (white), further reducing the risk of installation errors.
