The Yacht Devices YDBC-05RT is a compact digital barometer designed for atmospheric pressure monitoring on SeaTalk NG and NMEA 2000-based marine networks. The pressure sensor is integrated inside the device case, and measured data can be displayed on compatible chart plotters, navigation instruments and other onboard equipment.

The YDBC-05RT version combines a Raymarine SeaTalk NG Female connection with an integrated 120 Ohm terminator. Built-In Network Terminator

The YDBC-05RT includes an integrated 120 Ohm termination resistor and is designed to replace an existing terminator at the end of the network backbone. An NMEA 2000 network requires two 120 Ohm terminators, one at each end of the bus, so no more than two devices with built-in termination should be installed on the same network.

SeaTalk NG and NMEA 2000 Integration

The device is designed for operation on an NMEA 2000 network and uses a Raymarine SeaTalk NG Female Terminator connection. Atmospheric pressure data is available to compatible equipment connected to the network and can be displayed simultaneously on multiple chart plotters and digital navigation instruments.

Weather Trend Monitoring

Compatible marine displays can present barometric pressure as numerical values, graphs or trend indicators. This allows changes in atmospheric pressure to be monitored over time for onboard weather observation.

Historical Pressure Data

The device stores measurements from the previous 48 hours in internal RAM. Historical data can be retrieved using compatible software or hardware such as CAN Log Viewer or an NMEA 2000 Wi-Fi Gateway.

Digital Switching Support

The YDBC-05RT can be configured to control compatible NMEA 2000 digital switching channels based on current atmospheric pressure or changes in pressure over time.
