The Tecnoseal rectangular plate anodes without inserts are sacrificial anodes for marine hull and transom applications. This product range includes zinc and aluminium versions in different sizes and mounting configurations.

These sacrificial plate anodes are used in marine hull and transom installations to help protect electrically connected metallic components against galvanic corrosion.

Mounting and Replacement

All models have two Ø10.5 mm mounting holes. The mounting hole spacing differs between models and must be checked before ordering.

In particular, the 00255 and 00255-6 zinc versions share the same external dimensions but have different mounting distances: 125 mm and 152 mm respectively.

Compare the plate dimensions, mounting hole spacing and material with the existing anode before replacement. Inspect sacrificial anodes periodically and replace them when sufficiently consumed.
