The Italwinch Nestor-V Capstan is a compact vertical marine capstan developed for reliable mooring and line handling on vessels up to 14 metres. Featuring a corrosion-resistant AISI 316 stainless steel capstan head and an IP67 waterproof electric motor, it delivers dependable performance in demanding marine conditions.
Powered by an 800W motor, the Nestor-V is available in both 12V and 24V DC versions. It provides a maximum pulling force of 300 kg, a continuous working load of 100 kg, and a maximum line speed of 25 m/min, making it suitable for docking, mooring and general line handling.
The capstan incorporates Italwinch's EASY FIT installation system, allowing quick and straightforward installation while maintaining a compact below-deck footprint. Designed and manufactured in Italy, the Nestor-V combines premium materials, efficient performance and long-term reliability.
