Maxwell RC12-10 Hydraulic 90TDC CW Vertical Anchor Windlass (Vetus P104902)
The Maxwell RC12-10 Hydraulic is a fully automatic vertical rope/chain anchor windlass and represents the top-range model within the Maxwell RC Series. Designed for large cruising yachts and powerboats, it provides exceptional anchoring performance in demanding marine conditions where a hydraulic drive system is preferred.
Manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel (AISI 316), the RC12-10 offers outstanding corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The patented Wave Design™ chainwheel ensures secure handling of both chain and rope, smooth passage of the rope-to-chain splice, and extended service life of the anchor rode.
This hydraulic version features a compact 90 TDC deck clearance and a chainwheel-only design without an integrated drum. A ratcheted mechanism prevents backwinding during emergency manual retrieval, ensuring controlled and safe operation. The windlass is engineered to deliver high pulling power suitable for heavy anchors and larger vessels.
