Maxwell RC12-10 12V 1200W 90TDC CW Vertical Anchor Windlass with Drum (Vetus P104909)
The Maxwell RC12-10 is a fully automatic vertical rope/chain anchor windlass and represents the top-range solution within the Maxwell RC Series. Engineered for large cruising yachts and powerboats, it delivers powerful, controlled anchoring performance combined with a compact deck footprint.
Constructed from marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel, the RC12-10 offers outstanding corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The patented Wave Design™ chainwheel ensures smooth and secure handling of chain and rope, reliable passage of the rope-to-chain splice, and extended anchor rode service life.
This version is equipped with a fluted stainless steel capstan drum, enabling independent rope handling operations in addition to standard anchor deployment and retrieval. An Active Latch Ratcheted System prevents backwinding during emergency manual recovery, while the Free-Fall clutch allows precise anchor placement.
