The Maxwell RC10-8 is an automatic vertical rope/chain anchor windlass from the Maxwell RC Series, positioned as a mid-range solution for reliable anchoring on cruising and recreational vessels. This capstan version is supplied with a fluted stainless steel drum, enabling independent rope handling operations in addition to standard anchor deployment and retrieval. The intentionally simple design supports easy installation and dependable long-term operation.

Operational Notes
- The windlass must be used in conjunction with a chain stopper and/or alternative snubbing device to remove load from the windlass while at anchor.
