Maxwell RC10-8 12V 1000W 100TDC CW Vertical Anchor Windlass with Drum (Vetus P102573)
The Maxwell RC10-8 is a second-generation automatic vertical rope/chain anchor windlass from Maxwell’s upper mid-range RC10 Series. Designed for vessels ranging from 9 m (30 ft) to 14 m (48 ft), it is widely used on cruising yachts, launches, pilothouse vessels, and light commercial boats. The intentionally simple design delivers proven reliability, long service life, and consistent anchoring performance.
This capstan version is equipped with a fluted stainless steel drum, enabling independent rope handling operations in addition to standard anchor deployment and retrieval. The windlass is manufactured from AISI 316 marine-grade stainless steel combined with chromed bronze components for durability and corrosion resistance in demanding marine environments.
