Operational Notes
- The windlass must be used in conjunction with a chain stopper and/or alternative snubbing device to remove load from the windlass while at anchor.
- A chain stopper or alternative snubbing system should also be used to secure the anchor in the fully raised position while the vessel is under way.
- The windlass is also available in a version with increased deck clearance.
