The Vetus BOW9512DI bow thruster delivers strong 95 kgf thrust for precise handling on yachts and powerboats from 12 to 17 meters. It is equipped with an ignition-protected, watertight motor housing that complies with ISO 8846 Marine standards. This design shields the thruster from explosive vapors and provides excellent corrosion protection, enabling safe installation in petrol or propane compartments.
The highly efficient propeller design minimizes cavitation noise, while spiral gears and a flexible motor coupling lower transmission noise and vibration. With included seals, connectors, and fastening components, installation is straightforward and secure. The unit can also operate as a stern thruster when installed with the appropriate kit.
