The Vetus BOW7524DI bow thruster is engineered to deliver 85 kgf thrust while providing exceptional safety for fuel-vapor environments. The fully enclosed, watertight motor housing complies with ISO 8846 Marine 'Ignition Protection', preventing explosive gases from reaching internal components and offering superior corrosion resistance.
Its quiet single-propeller configuration minimizes flow disturbance inside the tunnel, while the unique propeller blade profile reduces cavitation noise. Spiral gears and a flexible coupling help further reduce noise and vibration during operation. The thruster may also be installed as a stern unit with the appropriate mounting kit, offering versatile manoeuvring support for boats 10.5–15 meters in length.
