Clamcleat CL228 is a compact vertical rope cleat with an integral fairlead, designed for ropes from 6 to 12 mm (1/4–1/2").
The integrated fairlead guides the rope directly into the cleat teeth, helping maintain correct line alignment for quick and secure cleating. The rope remains easy to release when adjustment is required.
Manufactured from black nylon, the CL228 is weatherproof and corrosion resistant, making it suitable for marine and outdoor installations. Typical applications include agricultural equipment, animal restraints, marine systems and small fairground rides.
The CL228 uses 72 mm mounting hole centres, the same spacing as the CL201 nylon Vertical Cleat and CL219 aluminium Racing Vertical Cleat. It can be installed using countersunk bolts or screws.
