Clamcleat CL239 is a black nylon Major cleat designed for 10–16 mm (3/8–5/8") rope and fitted with a manually operated red spring gate. The gate can be lifted to keep the rope out of the cleat and prevent unintended cleating, while the underlying CL205-based design provides reliable holding for larger lines and higher-load applications.

Clamcleat CL239 Major Cleat with Spring Gate for 10–16 mm Rope, Black Nylon

Clamcleat CL239 is a Major-size nylon rope cleat designed for ropes from 10 to 16 mm (3/8–5/8") and fitted with a manually operated spring gate.

The red gate can be flipped up by hand to keep the rope out of the cleat teeth, helping prevent unintended cleating. When the line needs to be secured, the gate can be moved aside and the rope dropped into the cleat in the normal way.

The CL239 is based on the CL205 Major Cleat design and retains the same general mounting layout. The underside of the cleat may be engraved “CL205” for reference.

Its larger nylon body is designed for thicker ropes and demanding rope-control applications where the line should remain free until deliberate cleating is required.
