Tecnoseal WKCKK2 Walter Keel Cooler Zinc Anode 80x83x28 mm
The Tecnoseal WKCKK2 is a zinc sacrificial anode designed for compatible Walter marine keel cooling systems. It provides a replaceable zinc element that helps protect metallic components of the keel cooler against galvanic corrosion.
The anode features a contoured body with curved surfaces, rounded edges and a shaped side recess. Its overall dimensions are 80 mm (3.15 in) in length, 83 mm (3.27 in) in width and 28 mm (1.10 in) in height.
A recessed central mounting hole measuring 10 mm (0.39 in) in diameter provides the fixing point for installation on the corresponding Walter keel cooler assembly. The shaped body profile is an important feature when selecting a replacement.
Weighing 0.55 kg (1.21 lbs), the Tecnoseal WKCKK2 serves as a sacrificial corrosion protection component rather than a complete keel cooler or heat exchanger.

Walter Keel Cooler Application
The Tecnoseal WKCKK2 is intended for Walter marine keel cooling systems requiring a shaped zinc anode with overall dimensions of 80 × 83 × 28 mm and a 10 mm central mounting hole.
The sacrificial zinc material helps reduce galvanic corrosion of compatible metallic components exposed to water. During service, the zinc gradually corrodes in place of the protected metal surfaces.
Mounting Profile and Dimensions
The WKCKK2 incorporates a distinctive contoured profile with a curved body, recessed central mounting area and shaped side recess. Its geometry differs from conventional rectangular zinc bar anodes.
The overall dimensions and central mounting hole should be compared with the existing anode before replacement. Matching the mounting profile is particularly important for correct positioning on the keel cooler assembly.
Inspection and Replacement
As a sacrificial anode, the WKCKK2 gradually loses zinc material during operation. Periodic inspection is recommended to assess consumption and determine when replacement is necessary.
When installing a new anode, confirm that the mounting position, hole diameter and body profile correspond to the original Walter keel cooler installation.
Supply: One Tecnoseal WKCKK2 zinc sacrificial keel cooler anode.
