The Tecnoseal KIT-TEC-BT series consists of complete sacrificial anode kits designed for Bennett marine trim tabs. Available in zinc, aluminium and magnesium, each kit contains two matching rectangular anodes and mounting screws.

Each anode measures 95 mm (3.74 in) in length, 28 mm (1.10 in) in width and 14 mm (0.55 in) in height. The mounting arrangement features two 6.5 mm (0.26 in) holes spaced 38 mm (1.50 in) centre to centre.

The kits are supplied as pairs, allowing replacement of two corresponding trim tab anodes. All three material versions use the same anode dimensions and mounting geometry.

Bennett Trim Tab Application

These kits are designed for compatible Bennett trim tab systems requiring rectangular sacrificial anodes with the specified 95 × 28 × 14 mm dimensions and 38 mm mounting hole spacing.

The sacrificial anodes help protect associated metallic trim tab components against galvanic corrosion when correctly installed with the required electrical contact.

Choosing the Correct Material

Zinc: Zinc sacrificial anode kit.
Aluminium: Aluminium sacrificial anode kit.
Magnesium: Magnesium sacrificial anode kit.

Select the appropriate material according to the vessel's operating water conditions, existing cathodic protection arrangement and equipment manufacturer's recommendations.

Installation and Replacement
