The Tecnoseal Riva propeller anodes incorporate recessed internal mounting profiles designed for the corresponding propeller assemblies. Both versions have a 13 mm Ø1 dimension and an internal height (h1) of 65 mm, while their remaining mounting diameters and overall dimensions differ.

The 00438 features Ø2 = 80 mm, Ø3 = 25 mm and Ø4 = 10.50 mm. The 00439 features Ø2 = 92 mm, Ø3 = 28 mm and Ø4 = 12 mm. These differences must be considered when replacing an existing anode.

Before ordering, compare the outside diameter, overall height, mounting recess and fastening dimensions with the original propeller anode. The two versions should not be treated as interchangeable without checking the complete mounting geometry.

Corrosion Protection and Maintenance

Manufactured from zinc, these sacrificial anodes are designed to corrode preferentially, helping protect connected underwater metallic propeller components against galvanic corrosion. Inspect the anode periodically for material consumption and replace it when significantly depleted.

During installation, ensure suitable electrical contact between the anode and the metallic component requiring protection.
