The Tecnoseal San Lorenzo zinc propeller anodes are sacrificial corrosion protection components designed for compatible San Lorenzo yacht propeller assemblies. Available under product codes 19025, 19026, 19027 and 19027-1, these anodes help protect electrically connected underwater metallic propeller components against galvanic corrosion.

Each anode features a cylindrical external body with a recessed internal mounting cavity and a circular mounting profile. The range includes four outside diameters from 185 mm to 241 mm, with different heights, internal diameters and mounting measurements to accommodate the corresponding propeller configurations. The smaller versions weigh 7.73 kg and 8.70 kg, while the larger 225 mm and 241 mm versions weigh 16.80 kg and 21.50 kg respectively.

Available Variants

• Tecnoseal 19025 – Ø185 mm: Zinc propeller anode measuring 185 mm in outside diameter and 75 mm in height. It features a 134 mm internal diameter, an Ø3 dimension of 168 mm and a weight of 7.73 kg.
• Tecnoseal 19026 – Ø190 mm: Zinc propeller anode with a 190 mm outside diameter, 95 mm height and 135 mm internal diameter. Its Ø3 dimension is 175 mm, and the anode weighs 8.70 kg.
• Tecnoseal 19027 – Ø225 mm: Zinc propeller anode with a 225 mm outside diameter, 130 mm height and 175 mm internal diameter. Its Ø3 dimension is 205 mm, and the anode weighs 16.80 kg.
• Tecnoseal 19027-1 – Ø241 mm: Zinc propeller anode measuring 241 mm in outside diameter and 130 mm in height. It incorporates a 171 mm internal diameter, an Ø3 dimension of 221 mm and weighs 21.50 kg.

Design and Mounting Configuration

The San Lorenzo anodes incorporate recessed internal mounting cavities designed to match their respective propeller assemblies. Although they share a similar cylindrical profile, the variants differ in their external dimensions, internal recess diameters and mounting hole arrangements.

The 19025 and 19026 feature 8 mm mounting holes, while the larger 19027 and 19027-1 incorporate 8.50 mm mounting holes. The internal diameters range from 134 mm to 175 mm, depending on the selected model.

Before ordering, compare the existing propeller anode with the manufacturer's technical dimensions, including the outside diameter, internal mounting cavity, height and hole positions. The variants should not be considered interchangeable without verifying the complete mounting geometry.

Corrosion Protection and Maintenance

Manufactured from zinc, these sacrificial anodes are designed to corrode preferentially, helping protect electrically connected underwater metallic propeller components against galvanic corrosion. Regular inspection is recommended to monitor material consumption, with replacement when the sacrificial material has been significantly depleted.

During installation, ensure suitable electrical contact between the anode and the metallic component requiring protection. Mounting surfaces should be checked for contamination or coatings that could interfere with electrical continuity.
