The Tecnoseal 00479EH and 00479EHAL are sacrificial propeller anodes designed for compatible Ferretti yacht propeller assemblies. These Hexagonal Hydro models are available in zinc and aluminium versions and provide galvanic corrosion protection for underwater metallic propeller components.
Unlike the cylindrical Tecnoseal 00479E series, these anodes feature a rounded, tapered hydro-style external profile with an internal hexagonal mounting recess. Both versions have an outside diameter of 155 mm and an overall height of 125 mm.

Mounting Configuration
The anodes feature an internal hexagonal mounting recess with a stepped profile. The manufacturer's technical drawing specifies a = 75 mm, Ø1 = 116 mm and Ø2 = 14.50 mm.
Before ordering, compare the external shape, internal hexagonal profile and mounting dimensions with the existing Ferretti propeller anode. These hydro-style models should not be assumed interchangeable with cylindrical anodes of the same outside diameter.
Inspection and Replacement
Inspect the sacrificial anode periodically for material consumption and replace it when necessary. During installation, ensure suitable electrical contact with the metallic component requiring corrosion protection.
